JOSEPH BEYER
(Writer, Director, Editor, Producer) Beyer relocated to his home state of Michigan from California in 2018, after being an executive staffer to the nonprofit Sundance Institute for more than 14 years, lastly as Director of Digital Initiatives where he led strategy, creative development and operation of digital content, social media and special Institute projects. Later he joined The Redford Center as Director of Marketing and Distribution using film projects to advocate for environmental and social impact.
Since arriving he has been the Executive Director to the Traverse City Film Festival, Director of Audience Engagement and Strategy to MyNorth Media, Executive Director to Michigan Legacy Art Park, and Executive Director to Parallel 45 Theatre. Joe has volunteered locally on the Traverse City Arts Commission Art Selection Panel, the Collection Committee of the Dennos Museum Center, and recently joined the Fresh Coast Film Festival Board of Directors.
He is a contributor to Interlochen Public Radio, Northern Express, and The Boardman Review.
JORDAN ANDERSON
(Writer, Director, Editor, Producer) Anderson has spent a career in media and storytelling, fueled by his insatiable creative interests and the rapid pace of change in technology and how companies communicate and connect with their fans and users. In 2020 he founded his own creative agency, named Pancake Boy Productions, which conceives and produces multi-platform campaigns in video, audio and social media for companies around the northern Michigan region.
Prior to launching the company, Jordan was Creative Director to Midwestern Production for over seven years, designing and producing content campaigns for clients and for the award winning array of radio and online outlets.
He has served as an active founding volunteer to Parallel 45 Theatre and often produces content for local nonprofit organizations and fundraising efforts as an active member of his community. Jordan is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he studied Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Traverse City Historical Society, recently launching a new podcast series exploring regional history from a contemporary point of view.
ANDREW DOST
(Composer) Dost is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, composer, and artist, as well as a northern Michigan native. His career spans over 20 years, beginning with concert bands, brass and percussion ensembles, punk bands, and jazz bands, when he learned how to play a multitude of instruments including trumpet, piano, and guitar. His love for arranging developed while he attended Central Michigan University, where he wrote a full-length musical and became a member of the experimental indie band, Anathallo.
After years of touring around the world, he formed the band Fun, which garnered global multi-platinum success. He has since composed music for several feature length films, documentaries, video games, television series, podcasts, and more. Dost has performed with Queen, the Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen, and countless other artists on every kind of stage, from house shows to Red Rocks, The White House, Saturday Night Live, Coachella, the rooftop at Capital Records, and Kresge Auditorium. He remains active as a songwriter, producer, composer, visual artist, sought-after speaker, and teacher.
In addition to his work as an artist, Dost is heavily involved in working toward social justice, having co-founded The Ally Coalition, which provides critical support for grassroots non-profit organizations dedicated to bettering the lives of LGBTQ+ youth. He recently scored the documentary project Beirut Dreams in Color from The Guardian.
WILLA YUDELL
(Music Supervision) Yudell was raised on obscure vinyl and postmodern VHS, music supervisor Willa Yudell's current projects include Call Jane (Roadside Attractions), Wedding Season (Netflix) & The Voyeurs (Amazon). Recent (and some of her favorite) projects include: Poms, Atomic Blonde, Watson & SuperMensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, plus an array of non-profit content & PSAs.
Willa's path to music supervision began in the film music department at Lionsgate, serving as music coordinator on The Hunger Games & Warrior. She has been nominated multiple times for the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards (2023, Best Music Supervision for Call Jane in Films Budgeted Under $10MM, 2022 for The Voyeurs in Best Music Supervision for a Television Movie, 2021 for Helter Skelter in Best Music Supervision for a Docuseries, and 2021 for Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1 in Best Music Supervision for a Documentary.
KATHLEEN GLYNN
(Executive Producer) Glynn is an Academy Award-Winning film producer from Michigan. Her credits include Roger & Me, Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, Slacker Uprising, Savage Waters and Chuck Chuck Baby. She is currently producing the television series A History of the World in Six Glasses starring Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi, Kevin Nealon, George Wendt and Jon Lovitz.
Glynn has been nominated for several Emmys and her work has been recognized by the International Documentary Association and the Gotham Awards among others.
DIANA MILOCK
(Executive Producer) Milock is a life-long community leader, and has served on the boards of the National Writers Series, Parallel 45 Theatre, Title Track, and the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation among others. She serves as President of the Begonia Charitable Foundation, which she founded.
She was a major donor of the former Traverse City Film Festival and produced projects including the feature documentaries Tommy Explains It All and Make Mine Country and the film Fitful. Milock is a lifelong supporter of arts and culture in every form: theatre, dance, music, writing, and cinema. She works with artists and organizations in Michigan and Oregon.
